The poster, designed by Raheleh Lotfi, was unveiled as ‘Mud Room’ (Otaghak Geli) will be screened in the Iranian event on Wednesday.

‘Mud Room’ (Otaghak Geli) is vying in the Soda-ye-Simorgh competition section of this year’s edition of the FIFF.

Directed by Mohammad Asgari, the film is a love story set during Iraq’s 1980s imposed war on Iran.

This year, the domestic and international versions of Fajr film festival are once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival” after five editions of separate versions.

The Fajr festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of Fajr International Film Festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, kicked off on Wednesday and will take place until February 11.
